As your Osteoporosis fitness trainer, I complete specific assessments and gather relevant information, then create an appropriate, safe, and enjoyable fitness program specifically for you. We'll even review nutritional information in an effort to help you better manage, or even slow the effects of this disease.

This targeted mobility training involves long hold stretches, practiced passively and completely relaxed. It is not a meditative or restorative class that you might be used to, nor is it contortion or pretzel poses. It is a science-based approach aimed at opening up your body and it is truly amazing!

The winter session of Seniors Fitness* at Scenic Acres Community Association starts soon! Join me Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday for this fun, very active interval class! We warm up, then get and keep our heart rate up with cardio and strength training, cool down, and stretch those well-worked muscles during this hour-long class.
Sessions start the week of January 13th.

Designed to improve flexibility, increase range of motion (ROM), and promote fluid, youthful movement. Many positions are yoga-inspired and can help with pain reduction, better posture, and joint protection, making everyday movement feel easier. Most classes are made up of long-hold poses targeting areas prone to tension, while others may focus on full-body relaxation and rejuvenation. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels.

A mix of bodyweight exercises (or light dumbbells) and cardio movements to strengthen muscles, improve balance, and elevate your heart rate. A slower tempo doesn’t mean fewer results—this class is designed for a safe, effective, and energizing workout!! Great for seniors, new exercisers or those seeking a slower-paced class.

A blend of resistance training and short cardio bursts to maximize efficiency. These energetic workouts help build muscle, enhance balance, boost metabolism, and increase endurance, all while keeping things fun and engaging with an interval-style format. Recommended for advanced beginner to intermediate + exercisers. Saturdays 9:00 - 9:45 AM MST
