Active Aging is "staying active as you age" and training with me will help you do that!
Your personalized one-on-one exercise program is designed, demonstrated, and led by me, a certified Personal Training Specialist with additional education focused on seniors' fitness. Your individual needs, physical uniqueness, and personal preferences are considered in order to create a plan that will get you and keep you on the road to healthy aging.
Healthy eating and maintaining a healthy weight can require effort, education, and guidance. Keeping adequate nutrition and appropriate calories in mind, I will work with you to create a clear, personalized, easy-to-manage plan that includes satisfying and flavourful recipes. You will learn how to nourish your body in a delicious, healthy, and sustainable way with food options to meet your tastes, preferences, and/or dietary restrictions. If you're vegan, watching your sodium intake, sugar-free, seeking a low FODMAP diet, or almost anything else, I am here to coach and guide you along your healthy eating journey!
Osteoporosis is an accelerated condition of a natural process - bone loss that comes with aging. Even though Osteoporosis is influenced by genetics, the absence of physical activity can change the severity of the disease. Staying active is essential to your bone health!
As your Osteoporosis fitness trainer, I complete specific assessments and gather relevant information, then create an appropriate, safe, and enjoyable fitness program specifically for you. We'll even review nutritional information in an effort to help you better manage, or even slow the effects of this disease.
A health & wellness coach is a practitioner educated to inspire enduring change as it relates to wellness, health, behaviours and mindset. My role as the coach is to empower you to create lifelong habits through exploratory conversation to determine what is standing in the way of change.
Through mentoring and support from me, you hold a powerful position in the relationship and will uncover the motivation to move toward positive health choices and outcomes.

Join me Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday for this fun, very active interval class! We warm up, then get and keep our heart rate up with cardio and strength training, cool down, and stretch those well-worked muscles during this hour-long class.

According to many theories, it takes 6 months for a change to become maintainable – this is aptly called the maintenance stage and is referred to in fitness, coaching, and many other areas of development.
